How our Board works

 While day-to-day operations are led by The Courage Center Executive Director Randy Rush, the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected. Board member responsibilities include:

• Leadership, governance, and oversight
• Advising the Executive Director
• Ensuring adequate resources
• Reviewing outcomes and metrics created to evaluate organization impact
• Monitoring the success and efficacy of organization programs and services
• Approving The Courage Center’s annual budget
• Serving on committees or task forces and taking on special assignments
• Acting as an ambassador for the organization
• Enhancing The Courage Center’s public image
